Hands with Detroit–April

Hands with Detroit is returning to the Cass Community Social Service Neighborhood on Saturday, April 29. This event, sponsored by the Greater Detroit District United Methodist Church, provides the opportunity to join hands with our United Methodist neighbors and make a difference in our community while also building new connections and friendships. As a church, we will be assembling meal packs on Sunday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. to be donated to Cass Community Social Services. Additionally, all are welcome and encouraged to sign up to volunteer on-site on Saturday, April 29, from either 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 1:00-4:00 p.m. Opportunities for ages 10+ include kitchen prep, yard clean-up, document shredding, and light maintenance projects.
