Vacation Bible School “Food Truck Party”

June 19-22, 2023 6-8pm

Vacation Bible School “Food Truck Party” is a fun event where children will learn important lessons about God’s ability to provide, and because God loves and cares for us, we, in turn, can love and care for the rest of the world. Kids will participate in hands-on activities to help these lessons come to life. Click here to register!

Sunday School

Four-year olds in preschool through 8th grade gather in The Village on our second floor for Sunday School at 9:00 am and 11:00 am. We begin with Children’s Worship in Bible Times Square before the kids break off into grade-based groups to study the scripture through art, theater, science, or games. Week by week, the groups move to a different space to discover the scripture in a new way. The group focuses on one scripture passage for four weeks to ensure that the kids have experienced that scripture four different ways. Contact Christine Ryckman at cryckman@rofum.org for any questions. Nursery: Infants and Toddlers can be left in the care of the Nursery Staff in the Nursery on the first floor, just outside the Sanctuary. Parents can request a pager in case they are needed during worship. For more information regarding nursery care, contact Ashley Erard at aerard@rofum.org.

Royal Oak Youth

For 6th-12th graders. every fall, join us for dinner, youth group and choir every Sunday from 5:30-8:00 pm. Plan to participate in this weekly gathering where we grow closer to God and to each other through discussion, music, games and food! We also have outings and a fall retreat each year.

Summer Camp

At Royal Oak First, you’ll find yourself surrounded by familiar faces and by people who really remember their first time at camp. There are some pretty fantastic games, crafts, bible study, swimming and so much more.  There is no better place to have a ton of fun and grow spiritually at the same time. We want to make sure that cost is never a barrier to participation in our church family, so camperships are available for church members and constituents if needed.  The fee includes the cost of the camp t-shirt. For more information, contact Jennifer Tripoli at jtripoli@rofum.org.

Holy COW (Church on Wednesday)

For all kids—infants through 5th grade and their families. Kids will spend time in devotions and musical activities. Holy COW starts in September and meets weekly from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Family Ministries

For parents and kids of all ages and stages. Watch for special events for families to be in fellowship together! We will have family events, like our Christmas Cookie Exchange & Delivery. We will also have some activities for 3rd-5th graders.
